چکیده
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy finerenone therapy in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients with cardiovascular chronic renal diseases. This meta-analysis assesses treatment diabetic kidney disease (DKD). A comprehensive search PubMed, Embase, Google Scholar databases was performed identify relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs). To quantify effects finerenone, analysis included estimation aggregated mean differences (MDs) relative risks (RRs), as well 95% confidence intervals (CIs). seven double-blind suffering from (CKD) T2D. Participants received or a placebo assigned at random. primary outcomes were mortality, non-fatal myocardial infarction, stroke, hospitalization for heart failure, sustained 57% decrease estimated glomerular filtration rate baseline over four weeks, death. Among 39,995 analysis, associated lower risk renal-related mortality compared (RR = 0.86 (0.80, 0.93), p 0.0002; I-squared statistic (I2 ) 0%) 0.56 (0.17, 1.82), 0.34; I2 0%). In addition, marginally reduced serious adverse events 0.95 (0.92, 0.97), 0.0001; 0%), although no significant difference overall observed between two groups 1.00 (0.99, 1.01), 0.56; study's findings suggest that administration can reduce end-stage disease, hospitalization. Patients both T2DM CKD are therefore advised consider therapy.
